UH Hilo Geology professor James Anderson placed
this benchmark for the Center for the Study of Active Volcanoes in the
1980s. December 2004 Barbara Cooper's Hawaii Electric Light Company,
Inc. team captured the coordinates at survey grade (+/- .10') using
their base station at HELCO. These coordinates are:
