ESRI Student Software Package


Students are eligible to purchase educational/research software licenses from ESRI upon ESRI's receipt of faxed documentation proving one of the following: current enrollment in at least 6 units OR current membership in a graduate program. Acceptable documentation includes a class schedule indicating the school's name, student's name, number of credits and current term; or a letter from an advisor or department head, on school letterhead. Proof of student status, with the student's name and callback phone number, may be faxed to Educational Sales at 909.307.3049.

ArcView 3.x, ArcView 8.x, ArcView 9.0 permanent license is available to students meeting the above requirements at $250 per license. Their extensions are also available at $150 each.

An alternative to the permanent license is a one year time out license at $100. With ArcView 8.3 and 9.0 the one year time out license includes Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst and Geostatistical Analyst, it does not come with any documentations or media packages.

Please note that under the student agreement, the licensed software is for educational research purposes only. Internships and work performed for not-for-profit entities is NOT covered under the terms of this license. If the student requires a license for consulting or profit-making activities ArcView 9.0 Single Use License is available for $1,500 from http://store.esri.com.
