For Spring 2009 I am teaching two courses, Phil 310 (Metaphysics) and Phil/WS 393, Normality, Abnormality, and Society
Phil 393 is entirely online, and Phil 310 has a strong online component. Both will be taught by means of the UH Laulima system: https://laulima.hawaii.edu/portal
If you are enrolled in a course, you can log onto Laulima with your UH logins, and links to the course will be obvious -- but only about a week before the course will begin.
Each of these courses involves factors of interest to prospective students. So here are some information sources about them:
Phil 310, Metaphysics: What it is about. (Not the paranormal.)
Phil/WS 393, Normality, Abnormality, and Society: How it will be run, and what computer access is required to participate.

· For more help with writing in general, consider the Writing Center .
· Or the Online Writing Lab. Here you can submit a piece of writing online and get comments from student tutors and have access to other resources for writers. It’s at

· For help in finding a computer to use, CLICK HERE. It’s a list of all of the open computer labs on campus. Pick the one you like. UCB 101 has up-to-date versions of Quicktime, and it’s open 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays.
