1) Vacuum control power switch -- ALWAYS ON 2) Vacuum key set to AUTO during normal operation 3) Check the Vacuum Gauges (G1, G2, and G3) 4) Check that the High Vacuum Gauge is between the RED ARROWS 5) All of the RED lights should be ON 6) Check the lights on the vacuum door.

4) Check that the High Vacuum Gauge is between the RED ARROWS
5) All of the RED lights should be ON
6) Check the lights on the vacuum door.
The V1, V2, and V3 gate valve lights should be on. Also the P2 pump and the DP diffusion pump lights should be on. The V1 light will be off if you have the Sample Chamber Open.
7) Check that P-10 gas is flowing.
The flow gas regulator should be read at the .03 line.
