1) Move to Benitoite

• Use the stage map.

2) Manually adjust the position so you are off of the digitized point

3) Adjust the OBJ Lens Current to change the spot size

• First, focus the spot to a tight beam using the Z-axis control.
  
  
• Try to use a 10 micron beam
  
  
• Next, carefully adjust the two centering knobs of the light microscope.

LOOK CAREFULLY BEFORE ADJUSTING THE KNOBS. DO NOT TOUCH THE TOP SET OF KNOBS MARKED APERTURE ADJUST. MOVING THESE CAN THROW THE BEAM COMPLETELY OUT OF ADJUSTMENT!!!

4) Move back to the Brass Saturation Spot
