Puu Oo Fountain, Hawaii (#2)
Lava fountain and flow from the Pu'u O'o vent of Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii. Intermittent lava fountains occurring about once a month and lasting about a day characterized the first three years of this eruption. The Pu'u O'o eruption still continues at the time of this writing (4/2001).
