Furnas Boiling Spring, Azores
Furnas Volcano on San Miguel Island, in the Azores, last erupted in 1630. Today its volcanic roots still provide heat to boiling hot springs. During our visit, the most dangerous thing appeared to be not the volcanoes, but the fast cars on the narrow roads.
