Position Number 82551; Pay Range : I-2 or I-3; College of Arts and Sciences; University of Hawaii at Hilo; gener al funds; full time; tenure track (assistant only); nine month type appointment ; to begin approximately August 01, 1999, pending position clearance and funding.
DUTIES: Teach introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in chemistry w ith laboratory, particularly in the area of Physical Chemistry; advise and coun sel students; serve on University committees; engage in scholarly activities, a nd/or creative endeavors which contribute to the mission of the University. Per form service to the University and community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: For Instructor: Masters degree in chemistry or a c losely related field. For Assistant: Doctorate in chemistry or closely related field from an accredited college or university. For complete minimum and desira ble qualifications, please call (808) 974-7316.
MINIMUM ANNUAL SALARY: I2 - $26,316; I3 - $32,028.
