Title: Math foe Elementary School Teachers
Description: Math for Elementary teachers is a hands-on, problem based course designed to help the Elementary teacher develop a basic understanding of the ten NCTM (National Council for Teachers of Mathematics) standards, including content area skills as well as process and thinking that relate to mathematic problem solving, reasoning, connections, communication, and representation, which create the Mathematic Hawaii Content and Performance Standards III (HCPS III). Required for admission into the Teacher Education Program. Must be taken for a grade.

Prerequisite(s): CS 100, GPA of 2.5 and junior standing, or consent of instructor
