Title:	Marine Biology I
Description:	Introduction to the fundamentals of biology as they pertain to marine organisms. Principles of cell biology, molecular biology and biochemistry. Focuses are biological molecules, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell structure and function, basic metabolism, and cellular processes. Emphases will be given to cellular level adaptations to marine environment.

Prerequisite(s):	High school biology (or BIOL 101) and high school chemistry (or CHEM 114) recommended
