Title: Conservation Biology
Description: Principles of conservation biology and their application to the maintenance and enhancement of biodiversity. Philosphical basis for conservation, scientific theories and research methods used by conservation biologists, and case studies of scientific and socio-political interactions in conservation problems.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 270 and BIOL 281 or consent of the instructor.
