Title: Natural Hazards and Disasters
Description: Survey of origins, processes, distributions, and effects of hazardous physical forces: hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, floods, earthquakes, volcanism, landslides, erosion, and beach degradation. Hazard perception and adjustment by humans also considered.

Prerequisite(s): Geog 101 or consent of instructor
