OSH 150 — Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health- Concepts, theories, and practical applications of occupational safety and health issues in Hawaiii and the Pacific region will be explored. This course is designed to give the students a broad overview of the knowledge important to workplace safety in a variety of occupations, with an emphasis on the use of behavior management on the imrovement and maintenance of health and safety behaviors in the workplace.

OSH 380 — Principles of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology- Essential principles of Industrial hygiene and toxicology with an emphasis on worplace hazards encountered in the Hawaii, Asia and Pacific region.

- Prerequisite(s): OSH/PSY 150

OSH 410 — Leadership and Innovation in Occupational Health- Students will work as consultants for an agency or industry to research an occupational health problem in Hawaii or Pacific Region and offer recommendations for a solution. Class time will involve lectures from experts in the field of occupational Safety and Health in the Pacific region as well as instructions on how to scientifically and methodically investigate a problem and reach a recommendation.

- Prerequisite(s): Psy 150 and 3 semester hours in OSH minor requirement
