Global Leadership Institute

The Global Leadership Institute, Boulder (GLI-Boulder) is dedicated to uniting international student leaders and giving them the skills and ability to create transformative change in our world. GLI-Boulder is a 5-week intensive international academic and experiential leadership institute that will be held from June 6 - July 6, 2008.

The uniqueness of GLI-Boulder lies in our purpose: to make the theoretical real. Rather than just reviewing societal problems and possible solutions, scholars will have the opportunity to compete for $50,000 grants awarded by the Transformative Action Institute at the completion of the program! Rather than just studying principles of change, we will provide our scholars with the real world skills and experience necessary to carry out that change. Rather than just learning about and researching foreign cultures, our scholars will be exposed to and experience other nationalities, cultures, and beliefs first hand. We will accept 20 student leaders from around the world.
