Fu Jen Catholic University is a comprehensive university founded by the Holy See. Starting from 2003, the university comprises 9 colleges (Liberal Arts, Arts, Foreign Languages, Science and Engineering, Human Ecology, Law, Social Sciences, Management, Medicine), 45 departments, offering 42 master programs, and 11 Ph.D. programs. The university has established sister-school relationships with more than 100 renowned universities world-wide and is committed to the holistic education. The university strives to provide students a diversified, whole-person, interdisciplinary, and international learning environment. 

National Dong Hwa University

National Dong Hwa University currently consists of five colleges: The College of Humanities and Social Sciences, The College of Natural Sciences and Engineering, The College of Management,The College of Indigenous Studies, and The College of Marine Sciences. In all, there are a total of twenty academic departments, twenty-five independent graduate institutes, 12 Ph.D programs, and two research centers, namely, the Center for the Industrial Development of Eastern Taiwan and the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies. Totaling 5,576 students, the university's student body is comprised of 3,811 undergraduates and 1,765 graduate students. Students are admitted to the university only after undergoing a rigorous screening process, which includes the National Joint College Entrance Examination and other equally stringent methods of evaluation. The student body comprises students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds from all over Taiwan and various foreign countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Myanmar. At present, the university boasts over 300 scholars who dedicate themselves to teaching and research; more than ninety-eight percent of these full-time faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees from the world's most prestigious universities.

Shih Hsin University

The university has an undergraduate day program, and an undergraduate night program, along with master's and doctoral programs. To meet the needs of people who are already working but wish to continue their education, the university offers continuing education programs leading to bachelor, master's, and doctoral degrees, along with a special undergraduate program for graduates of three-year vocational colleges.

National Chengchi University

Over the years National Chengchi University (NCCU) has also established two branch campuses in urban Taipei: The Public & Business Administration Education Center on Chinhua Street and the Institute of International Relations on Wanshou Road. Recent years have seen the construction of several new buildings, including the Information Building, the Arts Center, student dormitories, the Administration Building, the Research Building, and the Tri-Collegiate Building. Future construction projects include new facilities to improve or supplement existing facilities, including a major sports stadium, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a health center, restaurants, and a retail co-op.
