Vesalius College, Belgium
Located in the heart of Brussels, Belgium, at the center of the European Community, Vesalius College is an ideal place for students of varying interests and majors to enrich their undergraduate experience. Over 300 international students from over 45 nationalities attend Vesalius College every semester, providing a truly cosmopolitan and culturally enriching environment.
Class instruction is in English, and classes are small and interactive, with no more than 25-35 students per class (sometimes as low as five or six) and personalized attention from professors. The Vesalius College Internship Programme also offers semester-long, unpaid, graded internships with such distinguished sponsors as NATO, the European Parliament, BBC Europe, and MasterCard.
University of Essex, England
The University of Essex, based at Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, received its Royal Charter in 1965. It is one of the UK's leading academic institutions and has an international reputation for the quality of its research and teaching. The University has 18 departments spanning the Humanities, Social Sciences and Science and Engineering.
The Colchester Campus is just two miles from the town centre and, although famous as Britain's oldest recorded town and former Roman capital, Colchester has now developed into an exciting and modern town with a thriving culture and numerous entertainment activities. Colchester is served by excellent transport links, with the A12-highway running into London and trains to the capital taking only 45 minutes. Stansted Airport, the home of many of the 'budget' airlines who offer cheap flights to Europe, is just an hour away by a bus that passes through the campus, and the ferry port of Harwich is 30 minutes from the town.
Anglo-American College, Czech Republic
Located in the city of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, the AAC offers a range of classes in both business, social science and law. It is a very international college, with students from over 60 different countries. Classes are taught in English, and many of the professors are native speakers of English.
The city of Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with very comfortable prices. So off-campus activities should be no problem for students that choose this college.
Business and Information Technology School, Germany
BiTS is a university that focuses on management and communications. The school prides itself with focus on so called ‘soft skills’, where rhetoric, creative and presentation skills prepare you for working in teams. It offers a wide array of classes in the fields of business communications, business psychology and media communications. Command of German language is recommended, since a limited amount of classes are taught in English. BiTS is located in Iserlohn, an old city founded in 985. The city is filled with historic sites, museums and art galleries. The closest metropolitan is the city of Dortmund, about two hours away by car. Iserlohn is perfect for those who wish to experience old Europe in a modern setting.
University of Bergen, Norway
Located downtown in Norway’s second largest city, Bergen, UiB is a very modern university, with everything the urban dweller could possibly want right outside the classroom. The university offers many courses in English, both for undergraduate students and graduate students. It is considered to be the best university in Norway for social sciences, medicine, and law, but you can pick almost any range of classes, from biology to history. Bergen is thought to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with plenty of activities for students. The total number of students in Bergen is about 25.000, and about 15.000 of these attend UiB. This makes Bergen one of the most student intensive cities in Norway.
University of Stirling, Scotland

Located at the foot of the Ochil Hills, the University of Stirling was opened in 1967. The campus was built on an 18th Century estate consisting of some 310 acres of stunning countryside. The City of Stirling lies just where lowland and highland Scotland meet and is only 10 minutes from campus by bus. It has associations with two of Scotland’s historic heroes, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, as well as an impressive medieval castle. As a bonus, on the city’s doorstep you can find tranquility and solitude in Scotland’s unspoiled mountains, lochs and shores or a wide range of outdoor pursuits, such as walking, canoeing, mountain biking and sailing.
For Study Abroad, University of Stirling offers admission to students from overseas universities and colleges for one or two semesters. The university admits around 175 visiting students each semester. Approximately half come as part of organized exchange programs, which the University of Stirling runs in collaboration with universities and colleges around the world. The others apply themselves or through a Study Abroad provider. The majority of students are in their third year of studies, but increasingly students from other years are studying here. As a Study Abroad student you can tailor your choice of program modules according to your academic background and experience.
Uppsala University, Sweden
Founded in 1477, UU is considered to be one of the oldest universities in Europe, and is a campus filled with tradition and culture. They offer classes in English in almost any field you can imagine, from arts to medicine, and the quality of learning is very high. The campus is a very modern one, with all the facilities a student might need. The school is also considered one of the most international in Sweden. Therefore, as an international student, there are many resources available to you. The city of Uppsala is the fourth largest city in Sweden, and has a great blend of modern facilities and historic sites. It is located about 45 minutes north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Public transportation is excellent, so students can get travel easily and conveniently.
