How to schedule the room: Faculty should follow their normal departmental procedures for reservations.

Faculty accounts: All ACSLABS faculty PC accounts work here. If you are faculty and need an account, email acs-info@uhh.hawaii.edu

Student accounts: Student accounts issued by the library (UHHL accounts) and all class issue accounts with the exception of the Computer Science Department will work here. Faculty will ask for students accounts for classes assigned to this room.

Who can use the Marine Science Lab? All UH, UHH and HawCC account PC account holders can use this room. However, Marine Science and other classes may bump you out of the room.

Loading new software: All software must be loaded by Academic Computing Services (ACS). Faculty may contact acs-info@uhh.hawaii.edu , providing proof of licensing and master copies of the software, at least two full business weeks in advance . Testing and loading of any new program must be done such that the established programs do not fail. It is unfortunate, but sometimes bad things occur, especially with software that accompany text books. So please beware!

ACS will not load private copies of software.

Hours of operation: This lab is normally left open as the Marine Science Student Resource Center when classes are not in session.
