Pay Printing

Picture pf SINGLE pay print card.A Typical Pharos Pay Printing StationPrinting is not for free in most locations. Currently black and white pages cost 7 cents each and must be paid for with a "Single card" which can be purchased in the library on the main floor at a the machine shown below.

Since all pay-printing locations run in a similar manner, it is suggested you learn to use the print stations in the library in preparation for printing in other locations.

Picture of a SINGLE pay printing card dispenser.If you print a job, but fail to pay for it, there is no charge. This job will eventually expire. In most cases you will have up to two hours to pay for and pick up your print jobs before they are erased.

To start the printing process, insert your Single card into the card reader.

Other locations may be free but are very tightly controlled by their respective departments if, indeed, printing is available at all. 

Color Printing

Color printing is available at 75 cents per page from any PC on the main floor of the Mookini Library.

Color and black & white print jobs all show up on the printer station PC. Your Single print card will be charged the appropriate amount. The cost is summarized on the screen before you are charged. Quitting before printing will not cost you anything.  Print jobs not paid for will automatically be deleted 2 hours after submission.
