Q.33 Please Name two services that you feel international students need most.
• Turoring and Advising
• More ISA functions that serve as mixers between the NSE, ISA and other RISO's
• A) An area for international students to gather and share up dated information, than spending all day on picnic tables. b) Tranfers credits, of International students to be accomplished within three months, of the first semester. This would foster registration, at present servive is extremely slow, and makes IS fustrated.
• Student club by the originating country.
• NULL
• insurance including car and health, and residence
• International Advisor (Ruth Robison) (very very helpful) and I don't know what else.
• SSSP
• 1. English learning Programs 2. More On-campus jobs
• Put an ATM on First Hawaiian Bank... Have a small stand eatery on the weekends for students who has to go to school on that day... either for a special class or for a group project meeting for a class... or for students who went there to use the library...
• Transportation and Academic Help
• Conversation classes. Future carrier information.
• It would be nice to have a session where we can learn about Hawaii(its culture, history). To have a university's travel agency where students would be able to buy tickets.
• International student need somebody to assist them in getting health insurance. Also, international students are having hard time finding jobs I would suggest that a person be there to help the students finding jobs that will best fit there skills and talents.
• More Finacial Aid
• more computers should install foreign language writing format so we can write in our own language. also, phonelines should be provided for all rooms in dorm.
• Adequate selection of classes to expedite the completion of required courses on campus
• More assistants on classes (assigments), and also more assistant on the shuttles every day and anywhere on the island.
• LOWER THE NON-RESIDENT TUITION More opportunities to connect with the local community
• I don't know.
• I think that they need a service to feel them welcome, so they won't get homesick. Also, I think we should have more event like United Nation Day so everybody can get involved.
• shuttle busses student get-togethers, activities, excursions
• N/A
• none
• tutoring and help with financial aid papers
• *Transportation to visit various areas of the Big Island every now and then=) *We should have like International Student's Day or something celebrate on campus during the day....
• 1. Computer Lab. 2. Need more space to study.
• 1. more information how to use university facilitis 2. University system
• Advicing Centers, ESL Classes, Writing Lab
• variety food.. & faster internet service..!!
• translator and a more detailed explanation of the majors, classes, about the visa, etc..
• Everythingn is good
• More assistants on classes (assigments), and also more assistant on the shuttles every day and anywhere on the island.
• There are only few courses offered that is interfering with registration. Therefore, students cannot graduate on time or as expected. We need service that concerns this issue. Plus, the quality of Linguistic Division dropped drastically. What happened? Are you planning to restore any faculty?
• This place is dead at night, once the sun sets, it's a dead town. It could be good, but at the same time, it really gets boring.
• Transportation and Housing.
• social security, class registration
• place to live off campus better price & taste for the meals in cafeterria
• follow up more on how are they doing in their classes, and provide social interaction (like having night studies or something like that).

• shuttle service
• International telephone access to call home - when home sick i.e, cheap prepaid phone cards could be sold at the office - making it cheaper for us to call home
