Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Pending)

College of Pharmacy, full time, temporary - initial appointment period is one (1) year, non-tenure, appointment is renewable depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds. Multiple positions are available across a range of disciplines broadly defined as the pharmaceutical sciences.

Duties: The College of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo, invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the fields of pharmacognosy / natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology and pharmaceutics. Successful applicants will conduct basic and applied research in their field of expertise under the supervision of a faculty member. Postdoctoral researchers are expected to assist in the maintenance of shared instrumentation and supervision of the research activities of students in the College.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in the fields of pharmacognosy / natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology or pharmaceutics. Ph.D. candidates should indicate when they expect to complete their doctoral requirements.

Pay Range: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
