To be of assistance to you, the University of Hawaii, Disability Services has created the resources that you may find of relative importance to you in your important role in providing the reasonable accommodation to the students with disabilities enrolled in your classes. The mandate to provide the reasonable accommodations is based on two major federal laws, Americans with Disabilities Act [1990] and Section 504, of the Rehabilitation Act [1973], and is in unison with UH Hilo's mission for an inclusive campus by providing an educational opportunity to all its students.
