Adding Classes

Prior to or during the first week of classes:

If you need any requirements waived (i.e.:  prerequisite, class standing, etc.), Registration Override Form is available at division offices or download form. Obtain the instructor’s signature and return the form to the appropriate division office.

During the second week of classes:

  1. Obtain the “ Registration Override Form ” form at any division office or download form.
  2. Be sure “Late Add” is selected.  If the class is also closed as well, select “Class is closed”.
  3. Obtain the instructor’s signature and return the form to the appropriate division office.
  4. Log on to MyUH Portal and REGISTER for the class.

Dropping Classes

  1. Log on to MyUH Portal at https://myuhportal.hawaii.edu/cp/home/displaylogin.
  2. Click on the “Add/Drop Courses” link.
  3. Select the corresponding term.
  4. Select the withdrawal option next to the class from which you wish to withdraw.
  5. Click on Submit Changes.
  6. MyUH Portal will not permit you to drop or withdraw your last class at your home institution online. See Complete Withdrawal section below.

 

Complete Withdrawal

Prior to the first day of instruction, all classes may be dropped online via MyUH Portal

After the first day of instruction,to completely withdraw from all classes, fill out the “Complete Withdrawal Form ” form available at the Office of the Registrar (or under "Commonly Used Forms") 

MyUH Portal will not permit you to drop or withdraw your last class at your home institution online.

WARNING: Dropping below 12 credit hours may jeopardize your financial aid and/or immigration status.
