Policies & Procedures
The importance of obtaining regular academic advising cannot be overstated. You are urged to see an advisor at least once a semester to decide on courses, ensure academic progress, and discuss career options and other educational opportunities provided by UH Hilo. Academic advising, although not required at UH Hilo, is an essential part of educational success.
Advising is a very important resource designed to help you complete the requirements of the University and their individual majors. Advising is also a shared responsibility, but you have final responsibility for meeting degree requirements.
