`Imiloa's 3D tour of the Universe

For date night or just a new way to experience the cosmic universe, Big Island residents can head up to ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center , a part of the University of Hawai`i at Hilo, on Thursday nights for a live, 3D planetarium program, "A 3D Hitchhikers Exploration of the Universe.” The new 45-minute program, Introduced in mid-February, will continue for six weeks through the end of March.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday nights with the doors to `Imiloa open at 5:30 p.m. and the Museum Store and Sky Garden Restaurant will be open for the public on these nights. Sky Garden Restaurant is offering full dinner menu Thursday nights for the duration of the 3D shows. Reservations are not required but recommended. Call 808-969-9753 for reservations. Fee for this exclusive engagement of the “3d Hitchhikers Exploration of the Universe,” is $8 for tickets purchased in advance and $10 at the door. Members get a $2 discount off those prices.
