Focus on Agriculture cookbooks on sale
The University of Hawai`i at Hilo’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management (CAFNRM) is now accepting orders for the Ag 194A, Focus on Agriculture cookbook.
The cookbook was produced using recipes featured during the Spring 2003 semester’s Thursday night television cooking class hosted by Dr. Jack Fujii. Chefs and other personnel from restaurants throughout Hawai`i were invited to prepare various dishes using locally produced agricultural products. The cookbook contains recipes for a wide variety of ethnic entrees, including recipes contributed by students enrolled in the course.
Cookbooks can be purchased at CAFNRM for $12, or mailed statewide for $15 a copy, which includes shipping and handling. Checks should be made payable to UH Hilo and sent to Dr. Jack Fujii, UH Hilo College of Agriculture, Forestry & Natural Resource Management, 200 West Kawili Street, Hilo, HI 96720-4091.
Cookbooks from previous semesters are also available. Anyone interested in acquiring copies of the current or previous editions may call (808) 974-7393. Order forms will be mailed upon request, which can also be made by fax at (808) 974-7674.
