Na Pua No`eau, the Center for Gifted and Talented Native Hawaiian Children, located on the University of Hawai`i at Hilo campus, is now accepting applications for the Saturday Enrichment programs for grades K to 12. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children.

A variety of classes will be on-going throughout the school year. The first class will be held on October 26, 2002. Students in grades K-5 will learn about Hawaiian music, and take part in singing and dancing. Students in grades 6-12 will study the Hawaiian coastline from the skeletal remains in the sand to fishing in a fishpond and learn how to make a fish net.
