UH Hilo offers online database management course this summer

The University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering an online, hands-on course in database management and development skills June 16 through July 25. This course is designed to meet the data management needs of many educators, students, and small business owners. All materials will be available to students 24/7 — perfect for working people and those who have family responsibilities.
The instructor is Dr. Robert Chi, UH Hilo academic technology specialist.
Both flat and relational database design will be introduced. Image Database, Laser Barcode System, and Web Interface will also be explored.

Prospective students who were not enrolled at UH Hilo in Spring 2008 will need to submit an application for summer session. Forms are available online at http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/forms/summer.php. There is no application fee.
