UH Hilo to host veterans services event

The University of Hawai`i at Hilo will host a panel presentation on veterans' services on Thursday, April 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Campus Center room 306-307. The event is free and open to the public.
Veterans' benefits, primary care services, and support programs for veterans attending college are among the topics expected to be discussed. State panelists will include representatives from the Department of Defense, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Hilo Vet Center, and the Veterans
Administration Primary Care Clinic. Representatives from various veterans advocate groups will also be on hand at the Library Lanai to provide support and consultation.
Free haircuts will be provided for veterans and weekend warriors on a "first come, first served" basis on the Library Lanai from 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
