Na Pua No`eau, the Center for Gifted and Talented Native Hawaiian Children, located on the University of Hawaii at Hilo campus, is currently accepting registrations from Hawaiian students in grades K-12 to attend its Super Saturday events on March 6. Parents are also invited to attend.

Students in grades K-5 are invited to attend a full celebration of the Makahiki at the Manono campus. Students and their `ohana will participate in food preparation, mele, hula and drama activities.

Students in grades 6 - 12 are invited to attend a "Planning & Design" event on the UH Hilo campus from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Local engineers will take students to visit areas that will help them understand the complexity of planning. Students will also do hands-on activities at the University.
