The University of Hawai`i at Hilo College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management (CAFNRM) is currently recruiting students to participate in the Minority Agriculture Research Student Support Program (MARSS).


The MARSS program is under the direction of Dr. William Sakai, professor of horticulture, and is being funded by a grant received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service.


The purpose of the MARSS program is to enhance and support undergraduate agriculture education for underrepresented students. The MARSS program will provide stipends to students participating in agricultural research under the guidance, training and supervision of CAFNRM faculty investigators.
