Saturday Enrichment programs available for students K-12

Students in grades kindergarten through 12 are invited to apply for Saturday Enrichment Programs sponsored by Na Pua No`eau, The Center for Gifted and Talented Native Hawaiian Children at the University of Hawai`i at Hilo . Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.


Classes will be held on March 2, 2002 for students, grades six through twelve, interested in becoming biologists, conservationists, or just have an appreciation for native plants and animals.


On March 16, classes will be held for students in grades K through five. Students will spend the day learning about fishes and how they can raise their own through the process of aquaculture.


On March 25, students in grades six through twelve will participate in Na Pua No`eau's Career Day at the Hawai`i Volcano National Park.
