The Chamber Singers, accompanied by Melanie Robinson, will perform music from the Renaissance to today, including highlights from Ariel Ramirez's Misa Criolla.

The Chorus will be accompanied by Kayleen Yuda. conductor Don Bremer will lead the concert. Bremer currently serves as associate conductor of the Chamber Singers, as part of a self described "musical renaissance" following retirement from 30 years of leading choirs at the high school and semi-professional levels in Southern California. He was president of the Southern California Vocal Association, sang in the Los Angeles Master Chorale under the direction of Roger Wagner, and remains active in the American Choral Directors' Association.
Amy Yamasaki, director of choral ensembles at UH Hilo, invited Bremer to guest conduct the Spring 2002 concert during her leave of absence. Yamasaki directs the UH Hilo choral program and teaches voice and general music classes. She also performs as a soloist around the island, and with Bremer, is active in the American Choral Directors' Association.
