Artist Chesney featured in UH Hilo art exhibition

Lee Chesney, an art professor emeritus from the University of Hawai`I at Manoa, is the Artist-in-Residence at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Art Department print studio from October 3 to October 10, 2012.
Chesney is one of three artists who will be featured in a UH Hilo Art Department community outreach exhibition entitled Lions in Winter. The exhibit opens on Friday, October 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the idspace gallery above Reuben’s Mexican Restaurant in Downtown Hilo.
Lions in Winter will feature mono prints and other works from Chesney, Oliver Jackson and Albert Paley. Cover images from the exhibition can be found on the Art Department Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/uhhart.
Chesney will also give a public lecture on the UH Hilo campus on Monday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in UCB 127.
