The Hawaiʻi State Judiciary Office on Equality and Access to the Courts presents an information session about its court interpreter certification program and job opportunities as a court interpreter in Hilo. The session will be held on Thursday, December 1 at 5 pm in the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Campus Center 307.
The Hawaiʻi State Judiciary is seeking court interpreters in all languages. Eligible interpreters include bilingual individuals who are 18 years of age or older and are eligible to work in the U.S. High demand languages include Chuukese, Ilokano, Korean, Marshallese, Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Tagalog, Samoan, Tongan, Pohnpeian, Cantonese, Mandarin and Kosraen.
