  2. I'd like to attend UH Hilo. How can I apply?
    You can visit our Admissions page and get more information about attending UH Hilo or email the admissions office at uhhadm@hawaii.edu.
  3. What types of Financial Aid are available to students?
    The Financial Aid information can be found on the Financial Aid site. There you can find helpful information about obtaining financial assistance during your stay at UH Hilo. It contains a link to the University of Hawaii CA$H© site to help you determine what types of grants and/or scholarships you can qualify. A link to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is also provided.
  4. Could you give me more information about housing facilities?
    Housing information for both on- and off-campus may be found on our Housing page.
  5. How much does it cost to attend UH Hilo?
    A breakdown of the costs required to attend UH Hilo can be found Financial Aid site. When on the General Financial Aid page, click on "How do I apply for Financial Aid?" and you see a section for the estimated costs.
  6. What Academic Programs are available at UH Hilo?
    The Academics page lists all academic programs offered at UH Hilo.
  7. Tell me more about Hilo and the Big Island.
    The web contains an abundance of sites dedicated to presenting information about Hilo and the Big Island of Hawaii. You can peruse our collection of Hilo/Big Island links to help you get started.
  8. Who do I talk to when I have a complaint about the University?
    Members of the public who have complaints about matters related to the University of Hawaii at Hilo should direct their concerns to the specific Vice Chancellor in charge of the area of concern: Administrative Affairs, Academic Affairs, or Student Affairs at 200 West Kawili Street, Hilo, HI 96720.

  2. Do you accept payments online?
    Tuition and Fees payments online are processed through the MyUH Portal Online Services. See the MyUH Portal for more information on online payments.
  3. Where is the Student Directory?
    At one time, the UHH Phone Directory contained contact information for current UH Hilo students. This is no longer available.
  4. How can I get in touch with a faculty member or staff?
    You may visit the UHH Phone Directory to find contact information about UH Hilo Faculty and Staff.
  5. Where can I find the current semester Course Schedule and/or Academic Calendar on the website?
    You can find the current semester Course Schedule under the Office of the Registrar or on the MyUH Class Listings. Also, you may find a description of each course in our printed catalog or in our online course database.
  6. Where are UH Hilo student publications found on the web?
    Official UH Hilo student publications are listed under Student Organizations.
  7. I'd like to apply for a faculty or staff position at the university. Do you have a site that provides a listing of job opportunities on your campus?
    Yes, you may see the list UH Hilo Position Vacancies here, or you may view the System-Wide UH Position Vacancies list for system-wide job opportunities, including those at UH Hilo.
  8. Where can I find maps of the campus?
    The maps of both the Main Campus and Manono Campus may be found on the Campus Maps page.
