The TEP at UH Hilo is a post-baccalaureate program designed to qualify students for a license by the State of Hawaii. Please visit the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) web site at www.htsb.org for information on licensing. Students who consider seeking licensure should begin preparation during their undergraduate program of study. To prepare adequately, students should contact the Education Department at 974-7582 to make an appointment.

Admission to the TEP is for Fall entry only, and enables a cohort of full-time students to complete instructional and field experiences together during the Fall and Spring semesters.
