V. Hawaiian/Asian/Pacific Requirement

The College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Economics, and Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani College of Hawaiian Language require their students to take a minimum of three semester hours in courses whose content emphasizes Hawaiʻi, Asia, or some Pacific region, culture, or theme. This is a graduation requirement. Courses used to satisfy this requirement may also be used to satisfy a General Education, Writing Intensive, and/or major, minor, or certificate requirement. Select a minimum of three semester hours from the following (please note that some courses listed below are only 1 or 2 credits and therefore will not complete the requirement without additional coursework):
