Good Neighbor Day

On Saturday, April 8, 2006, 9:00am - 2:30pm. The UHH Campus Center Service-Learning Office, Student Activities Counsel (SAC) and ASUH-HawCC, are sponsoring Good Neighbor Day. This annual event is one more demonstration of UH Hilo's strong commitment to be a good neighbor within the local community.

Staff, faculty, and students are invited to come together for a fun day in Volcano at the Keakelani Outdoor Education Center and the Volcano Charter School. We will provide free continental breakfast, transportation, and lunch.

University volunteers will meet at 9:00 AM at the UH Hilo Campus Center Dinning Room for continental breakfast, after which we will head to Volcano. When we arrive at our sites, participants will take part in different service projects. We will be doing everything from window washing and digging to expand their native plant gardens.

Service and Learning are two things the University is dedicated to, and we encourage all to join us in the fun. See you there!
