- Ocean Day a the Pacific Aquaculture and Costal Resource Center in Keaukaha. Fellows helped keiki build their own coral polyp and helped make ocean organism puppets.
- Earth Day Celebration at the Keauhou Outrigger in Kailua-Kona. Fellows helped keiki build their own coral polyps and helped make ocean organism puppets.
- April 24, 2009 Hawaii Community College Earth Day Fair. Fellows planted mamaki seeds with keiki and talked about the value of native plants in Hawaii.
- April 18, 2009 KeikiFest in Waimea at Parker Ranch Center. Fellows planted mamaki seeds with kids and talked about the importance of the land.

PRISM will be help Naalehu elementary with a hands-on science class which will be able to explore The Nature Conservancy's conservation land mauka of the KAU district. - Quarter 4 is in full swing. New teacher-fellow partnerships have begun and may be at your school.
- New curriculum will be made available soon on the curriculum page. New units include Ocean Grazers, Anchialine Ponds, and Dryland Forest.

PRISM wilbe presenting at the 89th annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science Pacific Division. THe meeting will take place at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea from the 15th-20th of June. The public is invited to attend. The annual Kokua Festival on Oahu was held and PRISM was there! At our booth fellows talked about the PRISM program, showed real zooplankton, made puppets of Hawaiian birds and demonstrated the curricula.
