歡迎來到夏威夷大學希羅分校的英語中心(ELI)﹗

ELI為想在夏威夷大學希羅分校攻讀學位的學生，提供紮實的學術預備課程。我們熱心投入的教師，都有多年且進階的教學經驗。

ELI的學生與其他的UHH學生享有相同的權利，可以進入並使用宿舍、 校園書局、圖書館、電腦室、自助餐廳、醫療服務、學生活動和學校社團。

ELI的學生在學習英語時，也能選修有學分的課程。 (見課表範例)

若您符合其他的入學條件，不需要托福分數即可就讀UHH 的一般學科－包括ELI。 在課程開始之前，會有一個測驗。根據您的測驗結果，您可能需要選修「英語作為第二語言」(ESL)課程，或者兼修ESL和學術課程二者。

當您完成所有進階課程並離開ELI後，您可以繼續您的主修科目。

ELI 課程

  • ELI students study English in a relaxed atmosphere基於課堂表現與測驗 (Proficiency test)結果晉級。
  • ELI 具有正式的學分，但不列入UHH的畢業學分。
  • ELI 不提供初級課程

編班測驗

在註冊課程之前，所有非英語人士都要參加下列考試。 UHH的教師們將會檢閱您的考試分數，並在後續的學期中提供建議與作業。
