Applications being accepted for Fall 2010
The DL-STEPS program is to prepare teacher candidates for a license issued by the State of Hawaii at the secondary level (7-12).
This program is designed for students with a baccalaureate degree who: feel the call to teach, or wish to change careers, or are school paraprofessionals and educational assistants.

Step One: Initial Screening- Continuous
Step Two: Application to UH Hilo -Admission possible Fall or Spring
( FYI: UH Hilo DL-STEPS student pay at the Undergraduate rate) Tuition and Fees)
Step Three: Initial Course Work - Available Fall, Spring, and Summer
Step Four: Documentation for DL-STEPS Cohort: ATTENTION - DUE March 1st
Step Five: Pedagogy Coursework and Field Experience I
Step Six: Seminar and Field Experience II
