Wine Tasting for Beginners
This four part series is meant for those of you who are interested in learning about wine – how wine is made, how to taste wine, the typical taste characteristics of certain grape varietals, wine terminology, and food pairing ideas. In each class you will smell various items which reflect the wines chosen in order to increase your olfactory memory. This class is definitely not for wine snobs, wine geeks or those of you who just want to get drunk. Classes are in modules for your convenience. Come and join us and have some fun! Randy Nunokawa, the owner of Grapes – A Wine Store, will be your guide. He has been drinking Thunder Bird to Grand Cru wines for 30 years (or according to his friends he was drinking wine before there was sin!) Each class has a limit of 24. Participants must be 21 years or older.
