German Language and Culture
Students will study elements of German grammar, the rudiments of basic conversation and become more familiar with the German language and culture
through music, film, and literature. By the end of this course, you will be able to carry on a basic level introductory conversation in German, as well as gain an understanding about German history, geography and culture. Required text: Deutsch Heute (Seventh Edition) by Winnifred R. Adolph. HCC History instructor John Gabriel James instructs.
