Morning: Arrive at Changsha (the capital of the Hunan Province, the city of the Han dynasty, 206 B.C.-220 A.D.) at 8:15 a.m.
Go to Shaoshan (Mao Zedong's hometown)
Afternoon: Tour Mao Zedong's Childhood House, Museum of Comrade Mao, Dripping Water Cave & Shaoshan Peak
Evening: Stay at Zudongko Hua Tian Hotel (Tel. 0773-229-8888)
June 2 (Friday)
Morning: Field trip to Changsha (a large town since the Warring States Period, 453-221 B.C.) to visit Yuelu College(a nice traditonal college since Ming-Ching dynasties)
Mawangtuue Ruins (the Governor's Tomb of the Han Dynasty) & Hunan Provincial Museum.
Afternoon: Go to Yugyang (a port serving the Yangzi River and the Dongting Lake) to visit Yueyang Pavilion (a famous pavilion since the Tang Dynasty, 618-907 A.D. ; a Mecca for Japanese and Taiwanese tourists) and Cishi Pagoda.
Evening: Tour the enormous Dongting Lake from Yueyang to Changde by boat at 17:00.
June 3 (Saturday)
Morning: Arrive at Changde and then go to Zhangjiajie (the magnificent Wulingyuan Scenic Area).Hunan - Wulingyuan Scenic Area/Zhangjiajie
Afternoon: Meet the Tujis, Miao, and Bai minority peoples and visit Suoxi River, Souxi Valley by cable car and Huang Drogan Cave to enjoy beautiful waterfalls, limestone's caves (including Asia's largest cave chamber) and fresh clear water streams.
Evening: Stay at Jianghan Hotel (Tel. 0744-561-8122)
June 4 (Sunday)
Entire day: Enjoy the beauty of the rivers and the Mountains which are said to form a peculiarly spectacular landscape of craggy peaks and huge rock columns rising out of the luxuriant subtropical forest. Field trip to Tianzi Peak and other wonderful places by cable car.
Evening: Stay at Koohan Hotel (Tel. 0744-561-5777)
June 5 (Monday)
Morning: Field trip to Chimpen River and lunch at Zhangjiajie City
Afternoon: Fly from Zhangjiajie to Chengdu (the capital of Sichuan Province).
Field trip to Panda Training Center

June 6 (Tuesday)
Morning: Leave for Songpan to go to Jiuzhaiaou, China's "Eden," paradise.
Afternoon: Meet Qiang and Tibetan minority peoples and see their villages. Visit the ancient city of Songpan.
Evening: Stay at New Nine Dragon Hotel (Tel. 083-777-3477)
June 7 (Wednesday)
Entire day: field trip to the Juizhaigou scenic area. The following famous comment was made about the area: "Guilins scenery ranks top in the world, but Jiuzhaigou's scenery even tops Guilin's" Jiuzhaigou, which literally means "Nine Stockade Gully," is "Heaven" for Tibetan settlements and panda conservation zones. Scattered throughout the region are Tibetan prayer wheels and chortens, Tibetan stupas. To tour the area, one will see the natural and primitive Tibetan way of life, and enjoy spectacular scenery of dazzling peaks, wonderful
waterfalls, clear ponds, colorful lakes and forests.
Evening: Stay at New Nine Dragon Hotel Tibetan music, dance and food (optional)
June 8 (Thursday)
Entire day: Field trip to Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) to see the magnificent valley, studded with terraced, colored ponds(blue, yellow, white and green) and waterfalls. Also visit the Yellow Dragon Temple (Huanglong Si), the houses and markets of the Qiang minority.
Evening: Stay at Maohsien Hotel (Tel. 0837-742-1168)
June 9 (Friday)
Morning: Field trip to Dujiangyan (City River Dam) to see the ancient Dujiangyan irrigation project, which was undertaken in the 3rd century BC. Also visit Fulong Taoist Temple and Two Kings Temple, which was built in 494 AD in honor of Li Bin and his son, the designers of the Dujiangyan irrigation project.
Afternoon: Visit Wuhou Temple, shrine in honor of Zhuge Liang, a famous military strategist of the Three Kingdoms Period (220-80 AD) - Chinese Tong Ho Temple in North Kohala on the Big Island was built after this shrine. Also visit Du Fu Cottage, erstwhile home of the celebrated 8th century Tang poet.
Evening: Stay at California Garden Hotel (Tel. 028-764-9999) in Chengdu.
June 10 (Saturday)
Entire day: Field trip Zigong (the capital of ancient dinosaurs) to see dinosaur fossils from million of years ago. Tour the city of Zigong, Dinosaur Museum and Salt Factory
Evening: Stay at California Garden Hotel
June 11 (Sunday)
Morning: Fly back from Chengdu to Hong Kong, Taipei and Honolulu
